ClorMatic Residential 5 Year Limited Warranty

      We will provide 2 full years coverage on the entire unit and 3 additional years of prorated warranty on the cell only*.

      The cost to the customer for the cell during the 3rd year of warranty is 50% of the retail price, the 4th year warranty cost is at 70% of retail price, and the 5th year warranty cost is at 90% of retail price.

      *Applicable for units manufactured January 1, 2002 or later

Warranty Exclusions

    1. Material supplied or workmanship performed by others in the process of installing the Chlorinator.
    2. Damage resulting from improper installation of the Chlorinator.
    3. Problems resulting from failure to operate the Chlorinator in accordance with recommended instructions contained in the product's Owner's Guide.
    4. Problems resulting from failure to maintain pool water chemistry in accordance with recommended operating levels.
    5. Problems resulting from improper sizing.
    6. Problems resulting from tampering, accident, abuse, negligence, unauthorized repairs or alterations, fire, flood, freezing, external water, acts of God, or other force majeure event.
    7. Chlorinator installed or sold by an unauthorized dealer or distributor.
    8. Chlorinator exported and sold by an unauthorized dealer, distributor, or individual.

Total Obligations

The foregoing constitutes the entire liability of ClorMatic to the Original Purchaser of a Chlorinator. ClorMatic makes no other warranty of any kind whatsoever, expressed or implied, and all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are hereby disclaimed by ClorMatic and excluded from this limited warranty. In no event will ClorMatic be liable to the owner for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss, damage or economic injury to any person or property arising out of or relation to the use of the Chlorinator except as expressly set forth herein.

No employee, agent, dealer or other person is authorized to make any warranties, guarantees or representations or to allow any exceptions to this warranty, or to assume any other liability or obligation on behalf of ClorMatic in connection with the Chlorinator.

Warranty Procedure

NOTE:

Warranty is determined by verifiable date of purchase or the factory ship date. Warranty is valid for original purchaser only. Refer to page 2 of the owner's manual.

The following information is needed before contacting either your dealer or ClorMatic for a warranty problem:

  • Power supply serial number (The serial number is a white label printed with black text located on the underside of the power supply - on the metal chassis close to where the wires enter the enclosure. It consists of a combination of 11 digits and letters on all residential units).
  • Cell serial number (located on the cell)
  • ClorMatic model type
  • Salinity level of pool
  • Temperature of pool water
  • Size of pool (gallons)
  • Code or codes being generated by the unit
  • Date of installation
  • Name of Installing dealer if contacting the factory
